Beginners Courses

Ouse Valley Archers run 3- 4 beginners courses per year for people who were interested in joining our club, or one of the other ArcheryGB clubs throughout the country.

If you are interested in a beginners course, please register via the link below and we will contact you before the date of the next available course.
Many thanks.

Courses are taught by ArcheryGB qualified coaches and all shooting equipment is provided. You need suitable close-fitting clothes and flat fully-enclosed footwear (no sandals or open-toed shoes).

Currently we are offering courses for anyone aged 14 and above. Archers under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times. We encourage parents and guardians to shoot with their youngsters.

If you are interested in enrolling on a course, please fill out the web-form on the link below and we will add you to our mailing list so that we can email you details of the course. This does not commit you to a course, but it does allow us to send you booking and course information.

Courses are £60 per archer and are held over multiple sessions, which are generally on a Sunday afternoon. Some sessions may be available on a Thursday evening.

To apply for a courses, please fill in an online application form and we will contact you with details of the next available course.
