The last opportunity to use the Princeton Court Venue for this indoor season is approaching, and the coaches are proposing that this be used as the ideal opportunity to check the tuning on bows before going outdoors (where the wind/rain/snow of the summer interfere with such grand plans!).
The evening this is scheduled for is Friday March 27th, bow setting up from 18:30 in the changing area, hall entry at 19:00.
If you would like to join us, please do, BUT bring as much information about your bow as you have, including any manual or official documentation. The more factory information we have, the less guess or “rough” settings we will start with. Bring the bow set-up you are intending to use outdoors, including sight, arrows, stabilisers, arrows, fletchings and any other changes you are intending to make for the outdoor season.
The coaches are available next week to discuss the initial setup for your bow beforehand so we can do the more advanced stuff in the hall. Please note that we will be able to provide some initial advice for new archers, but in order to do advanced tuning you will need to be able to shoot consistent groups at a distance of 20+ yards. These sessions are intended for archers with their own equipment.
Please note that this is a “Do-It-Yourself with Help” event and s aimed at you learning about your bow and how to tune it to help improve your scores! Please bring a notepad and pen so that you can keep a record of your setup for future reference.
