The club has re-opened for restricted shooting under the guidelines issued by Archery GB. In practice that means turning up for booked sessions – no socialising, just shooting, and wearing a mask while setting up and taking down.
There is hand sanitizer provided in the Trailer and in the Store for people to sanitize their hands after set-up and take-down.
To participate, please book your sessions through the OVA Community Forum. More details available in the forum.
The Annual General Meeting of Ouse Valley Archers will be on Thursday 30th November at 7:30pm at Putnoe Primary School. An agenda has been sent out by email to all members, but if you have not received this, please contact the Club Secretary and a copy will be emailed to you.
Notice and a copy of the agenda has also been posted on the Club Notice Board in the Armoury.
Please note that there will be no shooting on this evening, but your attendance and participation in the AGM is warmly invited. We are discussing some important issues and there are proposals to consider on Membership Fees and other matters. If available we will meet in the dining room where we can make use of the chairs and tables.
Thursday 21st May sees the next round of the club competition; a World Archery 70, which is six dozen arrows at 70m shot on a 122cm face (full size) in ends of six with ten-zone scoring.
There will alspo be opportunitites to shoot this round on Sunday 24th and Tuesday 26th May. Any help in setting up the field on the weekday evenings will be appreciated so that we can make maximum use of the daylight.
Many thanks for your interest in taking part in one of our Have-A-Go sessions with Ouse Valley Archers. After discussing with a number of you at the River Festival, we have made an additional session available to meet the high level of demand.
There are still a few spaces on our first date of Sunday 10th August (between 12:00 – 16:00, in one-hour slots). Both dates will be held at Putnoe Primary School on Church Lane, Bedford. We are holding our River Festival special price of £5.00 for these two dates only.
If you would like to attend either of these sessions, please let us know which slot you would prefer. This will be a “first come first served” basis as places are limited.
Contact: Info@OuseValleyArchers.com to book a session.

To make the best use of the available daylight any help you can offer in setting out the field as early as possible is much appreciated.
